Music Festivals on our radar for 2016…

2016 looks to be another great year for the UK music festival scene. But which one to go to with so much choice?

Every year we plan festival tours for our clients, taking the time to recommend the right ones for their brand. With activations ranging from festival food trucks and festival sampling to fully immersive festival activations.

So with all this insider knowledge, our festival team have decided to list out some of their favourite fresh new festivals that are worth adding into your festival calendar – and there is something for everyone. So whether you’re a day tripper, a glamper, a wild camper or want a festival with a difference there is something on the list for you!

Day Tripper
Want to keep it local, avoid long journeys and pitching a tent in the rain? Then stick to one of the London Day festivals.
The new one on the scene is Sunfall www.sunfall.co.uk on Saturday 9th July in Brockwell Park. From the guys behind XOYO and Dimensions.
Go if you like things a bit underground and urban and would prefer to end the night in a club post-midnight rather than a tent.

Glamper
There were a few contenders for this one, nearly every well-established festival seems to now have a boutique camping section. But we have to give it to Festival No.6 http://festivalnumber6.com/
It’s a festival unlike any other, in a place like no other. Set in Portmeirion over 1st – 4th September (it’s like being in Italy, but in Wales) – they have many glamping options to choose from. But for the ultimate glamping experience – stay in The Hotel Portmeirion which is on site, right in the middle of all the festival action …. You will never want to leave!

Wild Camper
Do you live for festivals? Like to fully immerse yourself in a theme and go wild for a weekend?
If so, then clear your diaries on 27th – 29th May and head to Lincolnshire for a musical journey like no other at The Lost Village Festival http://lostvillagefestival.com/
Dress up, play in the woods and listen to an amazing line up that would keep you entertained for 3 days straight. Warning…. You may not sleep!

A Festival with a Difference
Do you yearn for the music festivals of the past? Something simpler and more honest?
Then the Good Life Experience could be it. Set in Wales on 16th – 18th September http://www.thegoodlifeexperience.co.uk/
Go if being back to basics in the great outdoors is your thing. Discover new experiences with family and friends – from books, crafts, comedy, food and drink and music of course – from bands to mass campsite singalongs.
